This game feels like it has potential; obviously you were on the clock since it was a jam, but in future I'd recommend trying to at least just have 2-3 areas/levels. It goes a lot further in helping players to interpolate in their minds where the game might go; like, even just a second room where there's a 'grate' that you can't go past but the gun can shoot past. That small change would HOPEFULLY not require much more design since the systems are all in place, and it makes me as a player think 'ooooh, I see where this game might be going.'
